Blogger Dieu Cay, though still being very weak, has improved his health after 35 days of hunger strike. Prison No. 6 currently holds many political prisoners, including Dieu Cay, Nguyen Xuan Nghia, and Nguyen Kim Nhan.
Apparently, the recent visitation was different from the previous ones. Instead of talking through a security glass, the two must use the prison phones to communicate with each other during the visitation. Thus, the conversation could be monitored and interrupted at any time.
Expectedly, when Tri Dung asked his father about the situation of the detained political prisoners, Dieu Cay immediately said: "The guy Tien beat uncle Nghia up! Last time he attacked uncle Nhan." Immediately, the phone line was disconnected. The guarding prison police told them not to talk about such issues.
Reportedly, Tran Van Tien is serving a life sentence for spying for China. This guy has repeatedly attacked other political prisoners.
