Như Ngọc (Danlambao) - Ms. Bui Thi Kim Phuong, Mr. Nguyen Bac Truyen’s fiancée, confirmed with Danlambao that he had left police station for his parental residence in District 4, Saigon at 8:30 p.m. on February 10, 2014.
Upon returning to his parental home, he called his fiancée in Dong Thap province to inform his safe return. Ms. Phuong said that he is still very tired after spending a day and a night in police custody.
According to Ms. Phuong, Dong Thap police dispatched hundreds of police and security agents to conduct the raid. They fired three warning shots, broke into her house, kicked him on the face causing him collapsed on the floor, slapped on his face, sealed his mouth with tapes and dragged him away in handcuffs.
Their wedding is scheduled on February 18, 2012.
